Retrieve code changes to DVD

To copy internal code changes from the IBM support system to a DVD cartridge, select this radio button.

Then select OK to continue.

You can then use the DVD cartridge as an alternative source for retrieving internal code changes to other Hardware Management Consoles.

Important:

IBM recommends that you use this option only under the supervision of an IBM service representative or with the assistance of the IBM Support Center.

Use this option when:

• This console is configured and enabled for communicating with the IBM support system.
• And after IBM has notified you that new internal code changes are available from the IBM support system.
• And if you need to distribute internal code changes to other consoles that cannot use the IBM support system as a source.
